Flying Machines Camp (8-10)

Humans have always been fascinated by flight. Even
today, where drones and supersonic airplanes are the
norms, the science of flying and designing flying
machines is not widely known.

In this 5-day online camp, kids will 3D model several
types of flying machines such as hot air balloons,
airplanes, and helicopters. They will then design and
model their unique flying machine.

Learning Outcomes:

  Understand the importance and uses of 3D modeling

  Invent and design unique flying machines

  Explore how different machines fly and learn about fundamental Aeronautical concepts

  Exercise creativity and design skills to create fun as well as functional projects

  Improve teamwork and listening skills by working in a collaborative environment
